Guests are free to walk in those places not considered private by the monks. Private areas are marked with signs. In general the area north of the Abbey Church, the Ranch House and the garden are for the private use of the monks.

The Abbey Church is open from slightly before Vigils at 4AM until slightly after Compline at 7:30PM. The monastic refectory is open to guests only at meal times. The Breakfast Room and Parlour Room in the Guest Reception area are open whenever the Reception Area is open. The rest of the abbey is not usually open to guests unless it is for assigned work during work periods or with permission of the Prior or Abbot.

There is a small library in the Common Room of the main guesthouse.
